Govy 500 NA IPA
Description
Reason for Name: This seasonal beer is a celebration of skiers and snowboarders' daily race up and down the Mt. Hood highway and pays homage to iconic Government Camp. We took the hop expression in the Govy IPA and re-worked it in to an NA brew.
Style Notes: Characterized by floral, fruity, citrus-like, piney or resinous American- variety hop character, the IPA beer style is all about hop flavor, aroma and bitterness. A non-alcoholic version of a true West Coast IPA, they are known for the huge hop aroma bursting with notes of citrus and tropical fruits. Their malt character is understated, and they finish dry to let the layered hop flavors and aromas take center stage.
Tasting Notes: Govy 500 IPA is a showcase for contemporary American hops. Leading the way is Azacca that exhibits bright overripe mango, papaya, and tangerine flavors. To that we blend in some classic Pacific Northwest Cascade and its lemon/lime, grapefruit citrus zest notes. Rounding out the blend is Idaho7, with its aggressive pineapple flavor as well as some dank, pine notes.
